SnapRecaller doesn’t show up in my share sheet

SnapRecaller appears when you share a single image, such as a screenshot. In the share sheet, scroll the row of app icons all the way to the end and tap More. Find SnapRecaller and turn it on. While you’re there, you can tap Edit and add it to Favorites so it stays near the front.

If it’s still missing, restart your iPhone. As a last resort, delete and reinstall SnapRecaller, but note that deleting the app also deletes the reminders saved in it.

What phrases can I type?

Type the time and the note together in one line, like “fri 10am buy tickets”. SnapRecaller picks out the time and uses the rest as the note, and you can check or adjust both before tapping Save. Things like:

• in 30 min
• in 3 hours
• tonight
• tomorrow morning
• 2pm tomorrow
• fri 10am
• this weekend
• next week

You can also tap one of the quick options instead of typing a time. The ones you use most move to the front.

Where does the suggested note come from?

If you type only a time, SnapRecaller reads the text in your screenshot and suggests a short note. The suggestion is written on your iPhone by Apple’s on-device language model. Your screenshot isn’t uploaded to us or to any AI service. You can keep the suggestion, edit it, or type your own note instead. Notes that came from a suggestion are labeled Note (AI) when you open the reminder, and the label goes away once you edit the note.

Why is my suggested note so basic?

AI-written notes need an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri. On other iPhones, SnapRecaller suggests a simpler note taken directly from the screenshot’s text. Screenshots with little or no text may not get a suggestion at all.

Can I save something without a reminder?

Yes. Leave the time out and tap Save. The screenshot is kept in SnapRecaller with its note, ready when you are. If you decide on a time later, swipe left on it and choose Reschedule.

I’m not getting notifications

• Open Settings → Notifications → SnapRecaller and make sure Allow Notifications is on, with Lock Screen and Banners enabled. If you tapped “Don’t Allow” when SnapRecaller first asked, iOS won’t ask again, so this is where to turn it back on.
• Check your Focus modes. If Do Not Disturb, Sleep, Work or another Focus is on, reminders can be silenced. To let them through, go to Settings → Focus, choose the Focus, and add SnapRecaller under allowed apps.
• If you use Settings → Notifications → Scheduled Summary, make sure SnapRecaller isn’t included, or its reminders will wait for the next summary.

Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone itself, so they don’t need an internet connection to arrive.

What happens after 20 reminders?

Your first 20 reminders are free. You can see how many you have left in Settings → Unlock Unlimited. Once you’ve used them, SnapRecaller asks you to unlock unlimited reminders with a single one-time in-app purchase. You can also unlock early from that same row. There’s no subscription and no recurring charge.

If you don’t unlock, your existing reminders keep working, and you can still save screenshots without a time.

I bought the unlock on another device, or after reinstalling

The unlock is tied to your Apple ID, not to one iPhone. Make sure you’re signed in to the App Store with the same Apple ID you bought it with. SnapRecaller usually picks up the purchase on its own. If it doesn’t, go to Settings → Unlock Unlimited and tap Restore purchase. Restoring doesn’t charge you again.

Does it support Family Sharing?

If Family Sharing is turned on for the unlock, family members get it too. SnapRecaller’s App Store page shows whether Family Sharing is available.

Where are my screenshots stored? Are they backed up?

Only on this iPhone, inside SnapRecaller’s own private storage. SnapRecaller has no servers and never uploads your screenshots or notes anywhere, and they don’t sync to your other devices. If you delete the app, its reminders and screenshots are deleted with it.

If you back up your whole iPhone with iCloud Backup or to a computer, iOS may include SnapRecaller’s data in that backup, as it does for other apps. That backup is made by iOS, not by SnapRecaller.

How do I delete everything?

• To delete one reminder, swipe left on it (or long-press it) and choose Delete. Its saved screenshot is deleted too.
• To clear the Done list, tap the trash button next to its heading. Everything listed under Done is deleted, along with its screenshots.
• To remove everything at once, delete the SnapRecaller app. That removes all of its reminders and screenshots from your iPhone.

Because nothing is ever uploaded, there’s no copy anywhere else for us to delete.

Does SnapRecaller access my photo library?

No. SnapRecaller never asks for photo library access and can’t browse your photos. It only receives the single image you choose to share to it from the share sheet.
